About the videos

The top video is taken from the summit of Three Rock Mountain, overlooking Dublin. The late evening city lights are witness to the fact that it takes longer to climb this mountain on a (very) windy day. The shot then pans over to the famous Three Rocks themselves, where the lack of light is, alas, less forgiving. I hastily used the remaining light to get off the mountain safely and get home for a warm broth!

The second video is of two family cats, Splodge and Mum. Whilst shot on another windswept day, at least the back garden was closer to a cup of tea post-recording!

The Audio clip is a recording of a T.S. Eliot poem titled Macavity. The clip represents more a fragment than the entire work, but it conveys well the sense of mischief for which cats are so renowned.
