ECDL

The New ECDL is a means of indicating that you have acquired the basic skills to use a computer in a wide variety of modules, each module provides a practical programme of up-to-date skills and knowledge areas, validated by a test.

Students learn how to author and design a website from the basics using HTML5 and CSS3, upload and maintain the website as well as creating graphics for logo’s and website layout.

We provide comprehensive, supported & certified computer training and general education to people with a wide range of disabilities.

The training embodies a holistic approach, ensuring that learners are equipped with the vocational and personal skills necessary to fulfill their potential in the workforce or in further education.

Who are we?

GHIS offers Rehabilitative, Social and Vocational training programmes for a wide range of students specialising in Computer Applications and IT Support.
It now functions under CDETB as part of their Specialist Training Services within their Community Services Programme.
GHIS is an accredited training centre approved to run courses by ECDL, QQI and CompTIA. On completion of each module, where applicable learners will be prepared for assessments. If successful, learners will be awarded the appropriate certificate.
